My son has been pushing me to go watch it! He’s going for a second time. That’s how much he loved it.

It’s that good! My daughter said it is the movie to beat this year and if the Academy doesn’t recognize it, it would be a travesty. She’s nit wrong but also the Academy is a travesty so there’s that 🤭🤭

But really you should go see it with your son. It’s an experience

Although movie watching is one sacrifice I have made to make way for other pursuits, your review makes me want to make time.

But really I am already entertained reading the soundtrack likened to a character, and "... it was like going to church." I like that very much; I know precisely what it means.

I can relate to making sacrifices for more important pursuits. Movies do feel like an option. I have certainly cut back on actually GOING to the cinema especially since COVID. I am definitely more selective and they don’t always pay off but THIS ONE RIGHT HERE… worthy of the coin and the time spent to experience it. The layers continue to unfold days after watching. I am off to watch a preview of this! I hadn’t heard anything about it and yesterday I heard a reviewer on the radio talking about it. He said the film deserves Oscars for everything! I feel like I need to take myself to the movies this weekend to see it! I love Coogler’s films, and Michael B Jordan!
