I can enjoy a book to screen adaptation. There are instances where they get it right, Daisy Jones and The Six, the Idea of You for example. Then there are times where the screen adaptation is such a flagrant bastardization of the source material I wonder how the original author was ever ok with it? “Does it always come down to the money?”…
